Product, component, or engineering design flaw

Manufacturing Defect

While the part itself wasn’t defective or dangerous when it was produced when the part was installed incorrectly it lead to accident, injury or even death.

Failure to Warn

Examples of this are a board game or toy that hasn’t been labeled as dangerous for a younger child and your 2-year-old chokes or hurts himself/herself, or a prescription that was mislabeled and your father took the wrong dosage.
